Shiv Sena came down heavily on the Bharatiya Janata Party by carrying out demonstrations in 12 different locations across the city. While doing so, police arrested many shiv sena MLAs and corporators for disrupting peace.

MP Anil Desai, Arvind Sawant organised the agitation in CSTM. The Shiv Sena had bought an effigy but they couldn’t burn it as police arrested Anil Desai, Arvind Sawant, MLA Neelam Gorhe, MLA Ajay Chowdhary, Ashish Chemburkar, Kishori Pednekar, former Mumbai mayor Snehal Ambekar, Arvind Bhosale and former MLA Dagdu Sakpal.
