Preparations are underway for the INDIA alliance meeting that is to be held on August 31 and September 1 in Mumbai. The preparations for the meeting were reviewed in the meeting of the major leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi. Congress leader Ashok Chavan said that Mumbai will be the centre of political affairs in the future.
In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, opposition parties across the country have formed an alliance under the name 'INDIA'. The first meeting of the alliance was held in Patna, the second in Bangalore, and the third is being held in Mumbai.
The meeting will be held at Grand Hyatt, a five-star hotel in Santa Cruz. Major leaders of more than 26 parties of the country will attend this meeting. The preparation of this meeting was reviewed in the presence of NCP President Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray, senior Congress leader Ashok Chavan.
