Girish Bapat revokes suspension of 9 MLAs out of 19 MLAs

Opposition parties MLAs came together and condemned the suspension of the 19 Congress and Nationalist Party Congress.

Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis prevailed and the state assembly on Saturday decided to revoke the suspension of 9 MLAs out of the 19 suspended MLAs.

Girish Bapat agreed to revoke the suspension of 9 MLAs out of the 19 MLAs who were suspended on March 22 for disrupting presentation of the state budget and burning the budget copies outside the assembly.

The MLAs whose suspension was revoked were DP Sawant, Amit Jhanak, Narhari Jirwal, Deepak Chavan, Abdul Sattar, Vaibhav Pichad, Dattatray Bharne, Avdhut Tatkare, Sangram Thopte.
