Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Wednesday morning maintained his confidence that his party will form the government in Maharashtra by next month. 

While talking to the media, Raut said that the situation on government formation in Maharashtra will become clear in the next coming days. 

We are getting closer on the government formation. The situation will be clear in the next two days and a government led by Shiv Sena will be formed in Maharashtra by December,” said Sanjay Raut. 

When asked about the meeting between Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Congress which is scheduled today evening, the Shiv Sena’s firebrand leader said that there will be a “full stop to it”. 

This means that the two parties were at the final stage of their discussion regarding government formation in Maharashtra. 

Raut had further informed about a meeting between NCP chief Sharad Pawar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi over farmers issue in Maharashtra – which is in under President’s rule since November 12. 

Earlier, the Shiv Sena MP has asked Sharad Pawar to lead a delegation of leaders to meet Narendra Modi and inform him about the ongoing agrarian crisis in Maharashtra.

The farmers in Maharashtra have suffered a huge loss of their crops due to the untimely rains. With the hung assembly in Maharashtra amid the imposition of President’s rule, the funds for farmers are required.
