On the demand of Maratha reservation in the state, there is a possibility that the path of reservation will be cleared for the Maratha community. The state government has taken a big step regarding reservation. Information is being received from sources that the state government will call a special session on February 20 for Maratha reservation. This will be a one-day special session.
There is a possibility of passing a law on Maratha reservation in this one-day special session. Therefore, the path for Maratha reservation is likely to be cleared. After the movement of Manoj Jarange Patil, the government had issued a notification regarding the Maratha movement. The government accepted all the demands of the Maratha community, a similar letter was also given to Manoj Jarange Patil by the government.
But Manoj Jarange Patil has once again put pressure on the government by going on a hunger strike. Therefore, now Manoj Jarange Patil has demanded that the promises given by the government should be converted into law as soon as possible.
