Maharashtra government to generate 72,000 jobs

Amidst the issue of unemployment in the state, Maharashtra government has announced mega recruitment to deal with the problem of unemployment by generating jobs. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced that with this scheme, the government aims to create 72,000 jobs. Regarding this, the government will dispatch all its advertisements by July 31. The concerned departments are asked by the state government to provide details till July 17.

11,005 jobs in the Rural Development Department, 10,568 jobs in the Public Health Department, 7,111 jobs in the Home Department, 2,572 jobs in the Department of Agriculture, 474 jobs in the Animal Husbandry Department, 837 jobs in the Public Works Department, 827 jobs in the Water Resources Department, 423 jobs in the Water Conservation Department, 90 jobs in the Department of Fisheries Development and in the urban development department, 1,664 jobs will be occupied.

In order to fill these posts, examinations will be held throughout the state for the applicants in a single day. The examination will be conducted under the supervision of a constituted committee. The District Collector, Department Level Commissioner and Heads of related State departments will be involved.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis announced a total 72,000 vacant posts amongst which 36,000 posts will be filled during the first phase.
