Tug of War in Mns

Bhandup - As Bmc elections are coming close , most of the aspiring candidates have pulled up their socks. In Bhandup assembly constituency Mns corporators and dignitaries are at loggerheads .In Bhandup assembly consistency Mns has 3 corporators including 2 women. This constituency is now divided into two blocks ie , block 114 and block 115 which are now for open category.While in the same constituency other five blocks are reserved for women. So from this open block male candidates are aspiring to contest. But the existing two women corporators have opposed to this demand and are insisting on contesting the elections from the same blocks, ie block 114 and 115. Self-proclaimed shakhadhyaksh Anil Rajbhoj and Rajesh Phadtare are also hell bent on contesting from block 115 while Yogesh Sawant is keen on ward 114. Women candidates have decided to stay out of the elections if they don't get to contest from their desired blocks.
