Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Monday expressed confidence in the Narendra Modi-led central government saying that the construction work for Ram Mandir should start at the earlier while adding that their expectation regarding the same has increased.
The way the central government is working, our expectations for the construction of Ram Mandir have increased. Now, there is no point in waiting," Uddhav Thackeray said while speaking at the BEST Bhavan in Mumbai.
Thackeray further stated that if the construction of Ram Mandir is getting delayed due to the court proceedings, a special law can be passed to allow the same.
We have instructed the Shiv Sena cadre to remain ready for laying the foundation stone of Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. This issue has existed since the days of our founder Balasaheb Thackeray," Uddhav Thackeray asserted.

Thackeray urged the central government to take bold steps towards the construction of Ram Mandir, the same way the government has acted while abrogating the article 370 which gave special status to Jammu and Kashmir.
