While interacting with the media on the occasion of the BJP Foundation Day, the Leader of Opposition in MaharashtraDevendra Fadnavis in Mumbai remarked that state Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has joined the line of pseudo-secular. Adding that while he does not take action on loudspeakers even after an order has been given by the HC, the CM did not take action on those loudspeakers when religious sermons of another community are placed but are instead seized, reports stated.

Fadnavis added that Thackeray has joined politics of pseudo-secular. In the aftermath of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) provisionally attaching properties owned by Shiv Sena Minister Sanjay Raut's wife, Fadnavis questioned why they send officers to the residences of their leaders, when they are not at fault, according to him.

The BJP leader further elucidated that they say they'll go to court because they trust it. However, when the ED takes action in accordance with evidence attained, they are questioned. He believes that Raut should come clean.

Moreover, following the action by the ED, Raut while talking to the media threw allegations at Kirit Somaiya. Commenting on the same, Fadnavis elucidated that they have not provided any evidence against Somaiya. He said that they are attempting their best to take action against Somaiya and his family, therefore, they are watching this matter.
