In another emotional appeal to the rebel MLAs in Guwahati, Maharashtra Chief Minister and Shiv Sena head, Uddhav Thackeray on Tuesday, June 28 appealed to them to come and have discussions with him

Thackeray was quoted in accounts elaborating on how many of them are in touch with them and are still in Shiv Sena at heart. He claimed that family members of certain MLAs have contacted him as well during which they conveyed their sentiments to him.

Further, the CM added that daily new information is being released that MLAs have been trapped in Guwahati since the past few days. Thackeray articulated that as the head of the Shiv Sena family, he respects their sentiments. He wishes to get rid of the confusion and believes the way to do so is by sitting together and finding a way out of this. He urged them to come forward and speak so they can find a way out.

However, many rebel MLAs have been releasing videos from Guwahati wherein they elucidate that they have decided to join Eknath Shinde's camp out of their own free will.

Earlier in the day, Shinde interacted with the media outside the gate of the hotel. Herein he claimed that 50 MLAs are with him. He elaborated on how no MLA is suppressed there and that everyone is happy.

He enunciated that the MLAs are with them and if Shiv Sena claims that the MLAs present there are in contact with them, they should reveal their names. Shinde was quoted saying, "We are in Shiv Sena, we are taking Shiv Sena forward. There should not be any doubt about it".

Additionally, he voiced that their spokesperson is Deepak Kesarkar who will give further information and let the media know about their stand as well as role. He then uttered, "We are speaking about Balasaheb Thackeray's Hindutva and we are carrying it forward".
