Narayan Rane believes that BJP will win the upcoming Mumbai Municipal Corporation elections. Union Minister Narayan Rane indirectly targeted Shiv Sena saying that he would fill the pot of sin of 32 years. Rane on Thursday afternoon visited the memorial of late Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray at Dadar, Shivaji Park. He then interacted with the media.
At this time Narayan Rane said, I have come to Maharashtra a month and a half after I got the post of Cabinet Minister at the centre. When I first arrived, I bowed before the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj at the airport. From the airport to here, I am overwhelmed by the spontaneous response of the people. I thank people for that. To do justice to this love, I will measure the inclination of Maharashtra through my account. I will aim to provide maximum employment through micro, small and medium enterprises.
Before saluting the statue of Veer Savarkar here, I bowed in front of Balasaheb’s memorial. I wanted Balasaheb to bless me today. Everything I have got in my life is because of him and I happened because of him. If he was here today, he would have said to me, “Narayan, you should achieve success like this”. He would have put his hand on my head and I would have been blessed. Even though he isn’t here today, I think his blessings are on my head, said Rane.
Without directly mentioning, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray, Narayan Rane is said to have attacked him. I will say this, no matter the monument of the person, no matter the monument of the gods, it should not be used as a language of protest. Think about the emotion and make a statement like that.
