Petrol and diesel prices are on the rise across the country, including Mumbai. Rising fuel prices have led to an increase in the monthly financial expenses of the common man.
After witnessing a hike for seven consecutive days in a row, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel today, October 12, 2021.
The state-run oil marketing companies (OMCs) have not hiked the prices of petrol and diesel, but the rates are soaring at an all-time high across the country.
On Monday, October 11, petrol price was hiked by 30 paise per litre and diesel by 35 paise per litre. With this, in Thane and Navi Mumbai the prices of petrol and diesel were at INR 110.55 and INR 101.17 per litre respectively.
In the first 10 days of October, petrol price was hiked by INR 2.80 per litre and diesel by INR 3.30 per litre.

The country's three oil companies HPCL, BPCL and IOC issue new rates for petrol and diesel after 6 am.
