Borivali- Under the aegis of the Mumbai City Kabaddi Association, a kabaddi competition is underway at Chinchpokli’s Lal Maidan.
Organised by the Chinchpokli Sarvajanik Utsav Mandal, the Chintamani Trophy, which will culminate on 24 December, saw the Mumbai Mahila Police Gymkhana beat the Golfa Devi team 56-17.
Mahila Police Gymkhana players Aarti Narvekar, Bhakti Indulkar and Kalyani played exceptionally well and helped the team clinch the match. Amar Hind Mandal was the other women’s team that defeated the Dr. Shirodkar team 29-18 while in the men’s team New India Assurance defeated Railway Division.
