India did exceedingly well at the Special Olympics World Winter Games in Austria. India finished off the campaign with a total tally of 73 medals, which included 37 gold, 10 silvers and 26 bronze. The Special Olympic games were scheduled from 14 March – 25 March. Over 100 countries participated in the Games.
The Floor Hockey Team returned to India on Tuesday. The Floor Hockey (male) team won the gold at Floor Hockey and Floor Ball, while Floor Hockey (women) won bronze. Team India defeated Spain in the floor hockey.
