Income Tax SC defeats Springfields SC 3-2

Displaying plenty of grit and determination, Income Tax SC managed to pull off a close 3-2 win against Springfields SC in a Super Division match of the Mumbai District Football Association League 2016-2017 and played under lights at the at St. Xavier’s ground, Parel late on Monday evening.

Playing the lead role for Income Tax was striker Prathamesh Porwal who scored two goals in the second and 89th minute and Pawan Rawant added the second in the 69th minute, while Springfield scored through Akshay Shetty in the 72nd minute and Jabin Pillai in the 81st minute

Meanwhile, Twinkle Stars SC blanked LIC SC 2-0 with Zaid Ansari and Noor Shaikh netting a goal each for the winning side.
