Olympians and international shooters like Gagan Narang, Anjali Bhagwat, Suma Sirur, Dipali Shirsat, Ayonika Paul and others celebrated the 75th birthday of veteran coach Sanjay Chakrobarty at the Veer Savarkar Pratishthan Shooting range at Dadar.
It was a proud moment for the Guru as his prolific students were present on this occasion. Sanjay Chakraborty has been one of the senior most shooting coaches in the country who still grooms youngsters. Some of his other students include Anjali Vedpathak, Priyanka Susvirkar,Upasana Parasrampuria who have been doing very well at the national level.
Sanjay Chakraborty was also involved in setting up the first in college shooting range at Ruia college Matunga with the initiative to the late principal Dr Ramesh Sane.
We hope that Sanjay Sir continues to be healthy and guide many more youngsters from Mumbai in shooting so that they can earn laurels for the country in international competitions.
