Malvani – MLA Aslam Shaikh has organised a three-day long day and night Malad Premier League here at the Tipu Sultan Cricket Ground on Lagoon Road. The tournament kicked off on 18 November and 48 teams from the area are participating in it. The first prize is a cash kitty of Rs 51,000 and a trophy while the second prize is Rs 25,000 and a trophy. The best batsman and best bowler will also be given cash prizes of Rs 5,000 each as well as citations.
