Beleaguered Mumbai FC will take on DSK Shivajian FC in their last away game in the I-league at the Balewadi stadium in Pune. Both teams are at the bottom of the table with Mumbai places 10th with just 10 points. Lady luck favored Mumbai in their last away game against Mohan Bagan when they took a lead of 2 goals but ultimately drew the game. Earlier too they had drawn their games against Bagan and Bengaluru FC in Mumbai.
Mumbai FC has also been under a lot of pressure with spats between coach Kashyap and the players. The coach has also spoken about the challenges to run a team without much funds and bench strength. Mumbai will fancy their chances against Pune as the later hasn't been in the best of forms, maybe a win in this Maharashtra derby will give some boost to the players of Mumbai FC.
