After garnering an enormous response last year, the city's one-of-a-kind sports event, Mumbai Games is gearing up for the launch of the second season. Sports management company, SportzConsult recently hinted about the launch of the second of the city’s biggest sports extravaganza.

Mumbai Games’ first season in December 2018 - January 2019 saw an overwhelming 10,896 participants playing across 16 sports including Badminton, Basketball, Bowling, Carrom, Chess, Judo, Football, Gymnastics, Tennis, Happiness Run, Athletics, Taekwondo, Shooting, Skating, Squash, and Table Tennis.

While the event witnessed participation from both professional as well as amateur sportspersons, the initiative particularly resonated strongly with a lot of consumer brands.

“When a brand partners with any event, the first aspect it invariably looks for is a good brand fit. Once the brand sees its own DNA in the concept, the partnership becomes seamless. This was exactly the case with Mumbai Games,” Jitendra Joshi, co-founder and director, SportzConsult, said.

In its second season which is scheduled to begin this November, Mumbai Games promises to be bigger and more attractive with 20 sports and over 20,000 expected participants.
