Leggie Karn Sharma has been in good form of late and he picked up 3 wickets at the CCI couple of days back in the warm up game against Australia. Karnataka lad Krishnappa Gowtham has shown some fire with a strike rate of 166 in first class game, he is a handy off spinner too.
21 year old Trinidadian Nicolas Puran was a surprise as he was a good bargain at 30L. He is a left handed wicketkeeper batsman. But Mumbai Indians spent most of their money on ace Mitchell Johnson who has been a part of the Mumbai Indians team for some time though he was not retained this time.
For 10th edition of IPL, Mumbai will once again the be the hot favorites. With players like Rohit Sharma, Bhajji, Rayadu, Hardik Pandya, Parthiv Patel as well as Rockstar Kiron Pollard, Lendl Simmons, Lasith Malinga and Mitchell Johnson, Mumbai Indians surely can look forward to a smashing season of IPL.
