Mumbai schools shine in lejhim contest
Wadala- Mumbai Physical Education Mandal had organsied a school level ‘Lejhim’ competition at Bhartiya Krida Mandir. This event was inaugurated by Shivaji School principal Veena Dolwalkar.
Nearly 1,000 students from 11 schools took part in this competition. During this competition, students gave out social messages about conserving trees and keeping the city clean. Dombivali’s Swami Vivekanand school came first, Kalachowki’s Shivaji Shikshan Mandal came in second, Kalyan’s NRC school and Parel’s Social Service League High School came in fourth.
Rashtriya Mill Majdoor Sangh general secretary Govindrao Mohite, Shiv Chhatrapati award winner Leeladhar Chavhan, Mumbai Physical Education Mandal president Sanjay Shete, Dr G V Pargaonkar, and Dr Rohini Kavde were present to honour the winners.
