With an intent to promote running as a tool to support our physical and mental well-being, the Shivaji Park Marathon Club organised the Mumbai Ultra 12-Hour Run on August 15, 2018, where hundreds of enthusiastic runners participated in the 12-hour activity.

The Shivaji Park Marathon Club was started in 2011 and has over 300 runners today, who now inspire others to run and embrace a healthier lifestyle. The costs of Mumbai Ultra 12-hour run costs were met through voluntary donations from organizers, supporters, and sponsors.

The event began at 5:00 AM from Shivaji Park and ended at 5:00 PM at Siddharth Nagar. Since 2014, the organisers of the marathon strive to promote the idea of healthy living by encouraging more people to embrace this lifestyle by including running in their daily lives.

Winners were felicitated at the end of the event, and all the runners were awarded a medal for participation and completion of the 12-hour run
