Mumbai, Prince Chaurasia has been appointed the captain of the Mumbai team that will participate in the 7th Hockey India Junior National Hockey Championship to be played at Bhopal from April 20 to 30, 2017.
The 18-member team was selected after players went through strenuous selection trials, which was monitored by a team of selectors at the MHAL Stadium over the past week.
Ibrahim Mulla will be in charge as the coach of the team while Solomon Alexander will accompany the team as the manager.
Mumbai team: Karan Thakur, Piyush Jain, Tikaram Thakulla, Dheeraj Vats, Naresh Telang, Santosh Singh, Sushil Kumar, Mohit Katoute, Bhim Batala, Shakeel Shaikh, Prince Chaurasia (capt), Dilip Pal, Atish Shirke, Ayush Shetty, Pranit Naik, Ameen Rogay, Raj Solanki, Darshan Gawkar.
