Mumbaikar Ajinkya Rahane guided India to a series victory at Daharamshala. Leading the side in the absence of Virat Kohli, the Indian side wrapped up things before lunch on day 4. thus winning the series 2-1. India lost early wickets in the form of Murali Vijay who made 8 runs while Pujara was run out immediately.

 India were 46/2 chasing 106. But Rahane came out and went after the bowlers scoring a brisk 38 in 27 deliveries and completed the chase along with K L Rahul. Ravindra Jadeja was named the man of the match as well as man of the series.
