Suryansh Shedge of the Sanjeevani Cricket Academy hit 136 of 73 balls against Olympia Sports and helped his team win by a huge margin of 142 runs. Suryansh played effortlessly and hit the bowlers to all corners of the park. He has now scored 232 runs in the tournament. Ved Prakash Jaiswal of Naman Payyade is the close second with a total of 214runs. In another match, Venus sports academy beat Goregaon sports club by 28 runs.
Archis Kulkarni of Venus Sports Academy has picked up 14 wickets in the tournament. Sanjeevani Cricket Academy has won all its 5 matches till now and leads the points table with 10 points. Naman Payyade has won 4 out of their 6 matches and is at the second position.
The third edition of the Lashkaria Cricket League began at the Goregaon sports club on the 16th April. This is a unique tournament, especially for U 14 kids. Matches are played in a round-robin league format with each match of 30 overs. These matches will be played over a month at various venues including Goregaon sports club, MIG, Shivaji Park, Payyade Kandivali, Aarey Bhaskar ground and DPC Matunga.
