The 1st Prabhakar Desai Shooting Championship 2017 was held in Dombivli Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, K.V.Pendharkar college. It was organised by ‘Gun for Glory’, Mumbai. Various Clubs from Mumbai and other regions participated in this competition.
Swatantrya veer Savarkar club dominated by winning more than 10 medals at this competition. Closing Ceremony and prize distribution ceremony for this competition was held at the Eagle Shooting range. Rashmi Karandikar (DCP THANE), Dr Yogendra Shirsat ( Owner, Precihole Sports) were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
This 3-day shooting championship was organised with the vision that ‘Champions aren’t made in the gyms, Champions are made from something they have deep inside them - a desire, a dream, a vision’.
