The 3rd edition of invitational national archery championship gets over

The 3rd edition of the Invitational national archery championships took place at the I land academy football ground at Wadala. More than 140 archers from all across the country participated in various age group categories in the Indian, recurve and compound rounds. The South West command army team won most of the medals in the senior category. Mumbai players did well in the Compound and recurve categories and they had tough competition from the armymen. In the U 10 and U 14 categories, Mumbai players took the honours in the boys and girls age groups. Many parents were also present throughout the day to support their kids.

Director of Ajmera Group Atul Ajmera was present at the championships and pledged his support for archery in the future. Archery in Mumbai is growing very fast and its time and these youngsters hit bullseye not only at the national tournaments but also at international ones.
