Earlier, in June 2020, global technology brand OnePlus announced the expansion of its smartphone portfolio with a new, more affordable product line: OnePlus Nord. The smartphone gained popularity amidst a difficult time, as the world was battling the coronavirus outbreak, and the business across the world has reduced.
However, the team has decided to share the journey of bringing a new smartphone to life, and partnered with Amazon Prime Video brings to showcase a unique documentary which shares an unfiltered look at the development of the OnePlus Nord, from concept to launch. Titled “New Beginnings”, the documentary will be premiering on Amazon Prime Video on August 18, 2020.
Filmed in 4 countries over a period of 6 months, the documentary follows the OnePlus Nord project team as they strategize, navigate design obstacles, and adapt to the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The team at OnePlus took to Instagram to share a glimpse of the documentary, with a message "We don’t pump the breaks at OnePlus. Our documentary series, New Beginnings, has officially turned into our first feature film. Premieres August 18 on Amazon Prime Video."
