After a successful season last year; Ekta Kapoor, MTV, and Anand Mishra are back with the next season of MTV Box Cricket League. The makers have confirmed that the next season will be aired in March.

Popular names from the TV industry are associated with MTV BCL this year. Some of the names include Pearl V Puri, Karan Patel, Arjun Bijlani, Karan Wahi, Anita Hassanandani, Anjum Fakih, Erica Fernandes, Surbhi Jyoti, and many more.

Talking about the show, Ekta Kapoor said, "MTV BCL had a stellar run last year, with over 200 top TV faces battling it out. This is a one of a kind format which brings two of India’s greatest passions together -Cricket & Entertainment! This season, we’re all set to take the excitement to new levels as BCL is poised to be bigger, bolder and better. Let the games begin!”

Being aired on MTV gave the tournament a viewership boost and provided a platform for the youth to be able to connect with the sports reality show and this seems to have helped them in the long run. Makers say that the new season is expected to be even more exciting and they will add a few new exciting rules to increase the masala and excitement quotient in the format.
