Ever since the coronavirus outbreak started in Maharashtra, there has been a lockdown on the shooting. All movie and TV shows were given up till March 19th to wrap up their shoots.

Now that their banks are coming to an end and this lockdown is to continue till April 15, Zee TV has decided to offer something new to their audience. While most other channels will be airing re-runs of old or existing shows, instead of Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya Zee TV is airing Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat.

The announcement was made by none other than Ekta Kapoor herself. Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat stars Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar. The show is an Alt Balaji Original and has three seasons.

Another web series that one will see on Zee TV at this time is Baarish that stars Asha Negi and Sharman Joshi.

Ekta Kapoor announcing this shared, “V tough times but we will get through together. Since we cannot make any more eps of #kumkumbhagya #kundalibhagya we have extended our family shows to @zeetv so 9 pm to 10 pm instead of karan preeta or abhi Pragya u will see tipsy n karan! we can’t do anything to help our viewers but entertain them during these tough stressed times so this gem from our library for u all! Ur fav couple #sakshitanwar n @iamramkapoor r back from tonight 9-10pm in#karletubhimohabat on tv! Enjoy n stay home n stay safe.”

Both Kumkum Bhagya and Kundali Bhagya have been at the top of the TRP charts for weeks together. While the audience will miss seeing these shows, they have something new to look forward to.

Sakshi and Ram Kapoor had earlier been a part of Ekta Kapoor's serial Bade Acche Lagte Hai, which was a mature love story. The show is remembered fondly even today.
