TV actress Divya Bhatnagar passes away after battling COVID-19

Divya was admitted to a hospital on November 26 after testing positive for COVID-19. The actress was critical and on ventilator support. She was suffering from pneumonia as well.

Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Divya Bhatnagar passed away on Monday early morning, December 7, at Mumbai’s seven hills hospital following COVID-19 complications. She was 34-year-old old.

Divya was admitted to a hospital on November 26 after testing positive for COVID-19. The actress was critical and on ventilator support. She was suffering from pneumonia as well.

Divya Bhatnagar was shooting for Tera Yaar Hoon Main when she had to be rushed to the hospital after her health deteriorated. Since the actress was a high blood pressure patient, she battled the disease for almost a week.

Actors like Devoleena Bhattacharjee took to Instagram to mourn the demise of her friend Divya.

Apart from that Shilpa Shirodkar also paid a tribute by sharing a photo with Divya. She wrote, "I'm so so so heartbroken. RIP my dearest Divya."

Earlier while talking about Divya's health, her mother had told to reporters that Divya had a temperature since the last six days. She was feeling very uneasy. She said that she came down from Delhi and got an oximeter home. On checking her oxygen levels, it was observed that they had dropped to 71. She was on a ventilator, while her oxygen level was about 84, and her condition was critical.

She has also done shows like Udaan, Sanskaar, Sanware Sabko Preeto, Jeet Gayi Toh Piyaa Morre and Vish.
