Peppa Pig is one of the most loved characters globally and the musical version of the same was much appreciated in the US and UK. Keeping the same in mind, the team at LIVE Viacom18 and BookMyShow have decided to bring Peppa Pig Musical to India.
Peppa along with her family and friends will be brought to the country to showcase the musical adaptation of the popular character, and the same will tour eight cities across 78 shows.
Talking about the same, Mahesh Shetty, Head - Network Sales, Viacom18 said, "Ever since its launch Peppa Pig has become a household name and an important part of our ecosystem. Owing to its growing demand and popularity, we''re thrilled to bring a one-of-its-kind live musical for the audience to feel closer to their favourite characters and witness this wonderful experience."
Kumar Razdan, Head - Theatricals, BookMyShow, further added, "The live entertainment industry in India is witnessing remarkable growth, with newer avenues of out-of-home entertainment opening up and being loved by audiences... We are certain that kids will love the musical, as much as they love the series."
Starting November 14, i.e. on Children's Day, the show will preview with a show at Mumbai's Bal Gandharva Rang Mandir, and then will then travel to Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, Ahmedabad and Jaipur.
