CR, WR Announces More Summer Special Trains Between Mumbai & "These" Destinations

Central Railways (CR) have decided to run 22 weekly summer special trains between Kazipet and Dadar to clear extra rush during summer season, The detailed are as under:-

A) Dadar-Kazipet weekly special via Manmad, Nanded, Nizamabad (12 services)

Train No. 07195 Special will leave Kazipet at 17.00 hrs on every Wednesday from 25.05.2022 to 29.06.2022  and will arrive Dadar at 13.25 hrs next day.

07196 Special will leave Dadar at 21.45 hrs on every Thursday from 26.05.2022 to 30.06.2022 and will arrive at Kazipet at  20.00 hrs next day.

Halts: Jammikunta, Peddapalli, Karimnagar, Lingampet Jagityal, Metpalli, Armoor, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Umri, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Lasur, Rotegaon, Nagarsol, Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan and Thane

B) Dadar-Kazipet weekly special via Manmad, Nanded, Adilabad, Chandrapur, Balharshah (10 services)

07197 Special will leave Kazipet at 11.30 hrs on every Saturday from 28.05.2022 to 25.06.2022 and will arrive Dadar at 13.25 hrs next day.

07198 Special will leave Dadar at 21.45 hrs on every Sunday from 29.05.2022 to 26.06.2022 and will arrive Kazipet at 23.45 hrs next day.

Halts: Jammikunta, Peddapalli, Mancherial, Bellampalli, Sirpur, Kagazhnagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Bhandak, Wani, Kayar, Lingti, Pimpalkhuti, Adilabad, Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Bhokar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Lasur,  Rotegaon, Nagarsol, Manmad, Nashik Road, Kalyan and Thane

Composition of both the specials: Two AC-2 Tier, Three AC-3 Tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class including 2 Guard’s Brake vans.

Reservation: Bookings for trains No 07196/07198 will open at all computerised centres and on website www.irctc.co.in from today, May 23.

In addition, railways will also extend the run of summer special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Thivim to clear the extra rush of passengers as under:

01045 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Thivim summer special extended to run on 26.5.2022, 28.5.2022, 30.5.2022, 1.6.2022 and 3.6.2022 (5 trips)
01046 Thivim- Lokmanya Tilak Terminus summer special extended to run on 27.5.2022, 29.5.2022, 31.5.2022, 2.6.2022 and 4.6.2022  (5 trips)
 
There will be no change in timings, composition and halts.
 
Reservation: Bookings for extended trips of summer special train No. 01045 & 01046 on special charges opened from May 22 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.

Moreover, CR will extend the run of summer special trains between Mumbai-Rewa & Pune-Jabalpur  to clear the extra rush of passengers as under:

02188 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus - Rewa special notified to run upto 1.7.2022  on every Friday is now extended to run till 29.7.2022

02187 Rewa- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus special notified to run upto 30.6.2022 on every Thursday is now extended to run till 28.7.2022

02131 Pune-Jabalpur Superfast special  notified to run upto 27.6.2022 on every Monday is now extended to run till 15.8.2022

02132 Jabalpur-Pune Superfast special notified to run upto 26.6.2022 on every Sunday is now extended to run till 14.8.2022

There will be no change in days of run, timings, composition and halts.

Reservation: Bookings for extended trips of special train No. 02188 & 02131 on special charges opened from May 22 at all computerised reservation centres and on website www.irctc.co.in.

Besides, for the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Western Railways (WR) has decided to extend the trips of Train No. 02133/02134 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Superfast Special train on Special fare.

According to an official statement issued by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of WR, details of the train is as under:

Extension of trips of Train No. 02133/02134 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Superfast Special

Train No. 02133 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur Special which was earlier notified up to June 25, 2022 has now been extended up to October 1, 2022.

Likewise, Train No. 02134 Jabalpur – Bandra Terminus Special which was earlier notified up to June 24, 2022 has now been extended up to September 30, 2022.

Halts: Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Sant Hirdaram Nagar, Bhopal, Hoshangabad, Itarsi, Pipariya, and Narsinghpur stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier and Sleeper Class coaches.
