Central Railway (CR) has announced a special traffic and power block, which will be operated for launching of four Girders for 5.00 M wide FOB (at CSMT End) of Thane station involving UP & DN Local Line (Span-3) at km 32/21-22 using 140 T Railway Crane.
The Blocks are to be operated as under:
Span 3 (UP/Down Local Line): Launching of FOB Girders (at CSMT End of) Thane PF 2& 3
Date of block:
September 2-3, 2023 (Saturday/Sunday night time)
Duration of Block :
00.30 hrs– 05.30 hrs =05.00 hrs.
Traffic Block Section:
• UP & Down Local Line: Kalva to Mulund
Due to this the train running pattern will be as under:
• Up and Down suburban services will be diverted on Up and Down Fast Line between Diva and Mulund stations and will halt at Kalva, & Mumbra stations.
• Last Up Local before Block: As per Schedule
• First Up Local towards CSMT after the block from Kalyan: S 6 CSMT local leaving Kalyan at 05.21 hrs..
• Last Dn local before the block for Thane from CSMT is Thane local departing CSMT at 23.12 hrs
• First Dn local before the block for Titwala from Vidyavihar is Titwala local departing Vidyavihar at 06.23 hrs
It is pertinent to note, the railways recently stated that the construction work of the new bridge is nearing completion.
