In response to public demand, Kalyan Dombivli Municipal Transport (KDMT) has introduced new bus routes from Runwal MyCity to Dombivli Railway Station and Runwal Garden to Vashi, Navi Mumbai via Kalyan-Shilphata Road, Dombivli East. These buses will operate twice in the morning rush hour and twice in the evening.

Residents, including senior citizens, students, and office-goers, previously struggled due to the lack of direct bus connectivity from Dombivli Railway Station to Runwal Garden, relying on rickshaws, which were often unavailable for this route. Additionally, many residents commuting to Navi Mumbai for work had to depend on already crowded buses from Kalyan and Dombivli.

Concerned about these issues, residents and senior citizens approached MLA Rajesh More (Kalyan Rural), who raised the matter with MP Dr. Srikant Shinde. After discussions with Municipal Commissioner Dr. Indurani Jakhar, approval was given to launch dedicated bus services for Runwal Garden.

With around 6,500 residents and 3,000 families living in Runwal Garden, the new bus routes aim to ease daily travel challenges. The services were officially launched on Saturday in the presence of MLA Rajesh More, Shinde Shiv Sena officials, Mahesh Patil, Datta Vaze, and local residents.

"If these buses receive a good response, we will extend the trips further," assured MLA Rajesh More.
