IndiGo is all set to introduce 20 additional domestic flights from Mumbai and New Delhi from April 15. Taking into consideration the withdrawal of several routes by Jet Airways this decision has come into action. Notably, at the end of March, IndiGo had cut down some flights stating that it was adjusting flight operations and weather-related disruptions.

Additionally, to enhance connectivity to and fro Mumbai, the airline has also announced three new international flights — Mumbai-Jeddah, Mumbai- Abu Dhabi and Mumbai-Dammam. Jeddah and Dammam are its 17th and 18th international destinations.

While the daily non-stop flights from Mumbai to both Jeddah and Abu Dhabi will start from June 5, the Mumbai-Dammam operation will commence from July 5.

Currently, IndiGo has 200 aircraft which offer over 1,300 flights daily, connecting 52 domestic and 16 international destinations.

Under the UDAN (Ude Desh ka Aam Nagrik) scheme, Indigo further announced four new flights which will be effective from June 22.
