Between Hanuman Mandir and Mhasoba Chowk in Thakurli-Chole village, concreting of the road and laying of underground channels by Mahanagar Gas are in progress. Thakurli-Chole village road has been closed for traffic at Mhasoba Chowk for this work. Senior Police Inspector of Dombivli Traffic Department Ajay Afale has appealed that motorists should use alternative routes.
The road from Thakurli-Chole village to Mhasoba Nagar is narrow. More vehicles ply on this road. These asphalt roads are constantly potholed. Potholes cause problems in this area. To solve this dilemma permanently, the municipality has planned to concretize the road in this area. This work was to be started on December 1. Afhale said that due to some technical reason, this work was started with delay by the municipality.
Since this is the main busy road, Senior Police Inspector Afale has instructed the municipal officials and contractors to complete the works on this road within the prescribed time. The municipality has planned to complete this work by December 27.

Traffic from Thakurli East Railway Station to Old Hanuman Temple to Mhasoba Chowk has been completely blocked at Mhasoba Chowk. These vehicles will go to the desired destination via Janu Nagar, Balaji Nagar on a 90 feet road. Vehicles coming from Chole village are not allowed to enter the old Hanuman temple. These vehicles will go to the desired destination via the 90-feet winding road, Bandish Palace Hotel or Fashibai Bhoir Chowk. The transport department has announced that the traffic change will not be applicable to ambulances, fire brigade, and essential service vehicles.
