Mumbai: Relief for Metro 7 commuters! BEST starts AC bus between Gundvali-BKC

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) and Maha Mumbai Metro Operation Corporation Limited (MMMOCL) have provided great relief to the passengers travelling on 'Dahisar - Gundavali Metro 7' with the help of BEST. The BEST has recently launched a premium air-conditioned bus service Gundavali Metro Station – Bandra-Kurla Complex. This service has made it convenient for metro passengers to travel from Andheri to Bandra-Kurla complex.

Air-conditioned bus number 'S-112' has been started on the route Gundavali Metro Station – Bandra-Kurla Complex and Bandra-Kurla Complex – Gundavali Metro Station. There are a total 21 stops on this route. A total of 29 trips are being run on the Gundavali - Bandra-Kurla Complex route from 07:30 am to 11:40 pm, while 13 on the Bandra-Kurla Complex - Gundavali route from 3:40 pm to 8:15 pm. The fare is around INR 60 to INR 90 between Gundvali – Bandra-Kurla complex. To avail this service, passengers will have to buy tickets from BEST's 'Chalo App'.

Attention is being paid not only to the metro journey of the passengers but also to make it easy to reach the next desired destination. That is why we are trying to provide the best service from the metro station to important places. As a part of this, the air-conditioned BEST bus service has been started between Gundavali- Bandra-Kurla complex, Metropolitan Commissioner and MMMOCL Chairman and Managing Director S. V. R. Srinivas said. 

He said that along with BEST buses, there is also emphasis on providing parking lots near metro stations, and electric two-wheelers.
