Until now, there was also no direct bus service from Mumbai to Alandi, a major pilgrimage site in Maharashtra. Not only from Maharashtra, but from all over India, thousands of devotees visit Alandi every year for the darshan of Saint Dnyaneshwar Maharaj. A large number of devotees also come from Mumbai to visit Devachi Anandi. Because of this, Mumbaikars have been demanding the direct bus service from Mumbai to Devachi Alandi for many years now.
Considering the demand of the passengers, the MSRTC has decided to start a bus service from Mumbai to Devachi Alandi from April 21, 2023.
What is the schedule of this bus?
According to the information received, this bus will depart from Central Mumbai at 7:00 am towards Alandi and will reach Alandi around 1:30 pm. If we talk about the return journey of this bus i.e. the journey from Alandi to Mumbai, this bus will leave for Mumbai at 1:45 pm.How will the bus route be?
Byculla (W) – Kalachowki – Dadar – Kurla – Ghatkopar (W) – Mankhurd – Shivaji Nagar (Govandi) – Sanpada – Nerul (LP) – Kamothe – Kalamboli – Panvel – Khopoli – Karla Phata – Talegaon Depot – Bhandara Dongar – Dehu Phata, Sri Kshetra Dehu – Moshi – Alandi Devachi.
The special thing is that the Maharashtra state government has started giving a 50 percent discount on tickets for women. Due to this, it is believed that the bus service started between Mumbai and Devachi Alandi will get a good response from women.
