The biggest problem any railway commuter faces is that one group who blocks the doorway and makes it impossible for others to get in. And the biggest problem is that it mainly happens during peak hours when the rush is more in the local trains.

To take action against such groups who bully other commuters, the railway police and RPF have come together and have started taking such people into custody.

Recently, Borivali police along with RPF arrested 28 people in custody on Tuesday who used to block doorways at Virar, Vasai, and Nalasopara during the morning hours. Out of 28, 13 people were presented in the railway court while Borivali railway police took action against 12 commuters and arrested three for performing stunts.

The railway police became active after a senior journalist was attacked by a group of people who were not letting him board the compartment and later they assaulted him as well.
