Women protection drive in Kurla

Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank CEO commuted in the local train. During her visit in local train, she stated that the women workforce is underutilised in India. It is important to provide them with safe commuting and mobility so that more women join the workforce.

In regard with this Kurla RPF conducted a women protection drive on the station. Women constable entered in the local train and informed them about the security measures. They asked women not to buy any item from the hawkers. This will impact their business and consequently, hawkers will not come on the train to sell their products.
