Mumbai - The government and various undertakings of the government have started their efforts to go cashless after Central Government’s decision of demonetization. The State Transport (ST) has also decided to adopt new methods of earnings. It has decided to go cashless as it will install POS machines at its reservation centres. The work has been started in this direction and it will be over within a week. These two machines will be from the SBI and the HDFC Bank and ST will pay only Rs 100 for each machine every month. The commuters will be able to reserve their tickets by using their debit and credit cards at these ST centres.
