The famous ‘Tejas Express’ is back in the news again. This time, we’re talking about the speed. People aren’t really surprised when trains run late in this country. But, our new addition could be an exception.

Due to bad weather, the train left from Karmali three hours late. But guess what? It caught up on the lost time by zooming away at a really high speed and arriving in Mumbai a minute before expected time all thanks to its powerful electro-pneumatic brake systems.

The monsoon has slightly changed the schedule and Tejas was supposed to leave at 7:30 am on Sunday morning. The train left Goa by 10:30 am and passengers had made up their mind on reaching their destination late. But wait, the train reached Mumbai by 7:44 pm when it was originally supposed to reach at 7:45 pm.

The train didn’t just cover the lost 3 hours, it added that extra minute in good faith. People were really pleased with the functioning of the train. Maybe now the headphones will stay in the train and the train won’t be vandalised.
