In a one of its kind initiative on the Mumbai metro stations, an exclusive lounge for women- Woloo Powder Room Lounge has been launched on Sunday, January 30 at the Ghatkopar Metro station, highlighted accounts.
According to reports, for INR 365, women commuters can make use of this facility unlimited for a duration of one year. On the other hand, non-regular travellers can make use of the facility for a mere INR 1.
Based on accounts, at the Ghatkopar Metro station, women travellers now have access to clean and hygienic toilets and an exclusive café cum store. With these facilities, the said metro station has become the foremost in Mumbai equipped with an exclusive lounge for women that offers hygienic, clean, safe toilets, a sanitary napkin dispenser, a café as well as a retail area for women-centric products.
It has been reported that the lounge is a collaborative effort of Woloo and Mumbai metro One and is nearly 1,000 sq. ft. An exclusive air-conditioned lounge for women, it comes equipped with Wi-Fi, eight smart hygienic toilets and a sanitary napkin dispenser.
Other amenities include a facility to change baby diapers and facial recognition software. Some of its other features entail a 14 seater café and a retail area for women-centric hygiene and wellness products.
