Fabrication of the data (collected amount at tollnaka) at Mumbai – Pune Expressway Tollnaka and passing of 30,000 vehicles without paying the toll has been exposed. The information is shared by Maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC).
To hide the designated amount which has been collected till now this stint has occurred states toll experts. The contractor had already met the collection target of Rs 2,869 crore as of November 2016. The contractor had collected Rs 346 crore extra.
As per statistics on 1 April, 29,788 vehicles didn’t pay the toll charges, while on 2 April, 30,212 vehicles went pass
naka without paying charges. Toll analyst Vivek Welankar stated that CCTV cameras are installed at Toll plazas, police team is on bandobast to supervise anti-social activities. Inspite of all the security if vehicles pass toll without paying who will count on the data.
