Mumbai: Traffic and jumbo block to affect the movement of local trains on March 14

The Mumbai’s division on Central Railway would operate a traffic block from midnight on March 13 in Kalyan to Kasara section for erection of girder on pedestrian bridges and subway work.

Besides, the Western Railway would operate a jumbo block from 10.35 am to 15.35 am on down slow line between Marine Lines-Mahim. All down slow line trains will run on down fast line between Marine Lines and Mahim.

The traffic block will be effective from 2 am on March 13 to 7.25 am on March 14. This will affect the schedule of mail-express trains, including some suburban locals.

The crossing between Khadavali and Vasind stations and Asangaon to Atgaon stations will be closed and a subway will be constructed there. Girders will also be installed on this subway. Apart from this, Central Railway informed that work is being undertaken to install pedestrian bridge girder at Shahad station.

Changes in the schedule of suburban locals

Suburban services between Titwala and Kasara will remain close during the block period.

The first train from Kasara to Atgaon will leave at 06.45 am on Sunday and will resume services after the block.

The first train from Asangaon will leave at 07.35 am on Sunday.

The first train from Titwala will leave at 4.32 am on Sunday.

The first local for Asangaon will leave Kalyan at 07.32 am on Sunday.

The first local train for Kasara will leave Kalyan at 07.55 am.

Special trains cancelled

Train No. 01141 and 01142 CSMT to Adilabad to CSMT departing on March 12 and 13 respectively

Train No. 07058 & 07057 Secunderabad to CSMT to Secunderabad departing on March 13 and 14

Train No. 07617 and 07618 Hazur Sahib Nanded to CSMT Hazur Sahib Nanded departing on March 13 and 14

Train No. 02198 and 021197 departing on March 13 and 14 from Jabalpur to Coimbatore and Coimbatore to Jabalpur

Trains to be Delayed

Train No. 01237 Nagpur to Madgaon, Train No. 02618 Hazrat Nizamuddin to Ernakulam, Train No. 02190 Nagpur to CSMT from Igatpuri to Kalyan will be delayed than the scheduled time as it would be halted for one to three hours.

Special Stops

Train No. 02259 CSMT to Howrah-Howrah Train No. 02129 LTT to Prayagraj, Train No. 05017 LTT to Gorakhpur departing on March 14 and Train No. 01236 departing on March 13 between Madgaon-Nagpur Special Welfare and Titwala and at Nilje stations. Besides, train number 02112 departing from Amravati to CSMT Amravati on March 13 will be delayed by three hours.
