The water service between Uran and Mumbai, which was closed for the last twelve days due to heavy rains and rough seas, has resumed on Saturday, July 29, afternoon from 2:00 pm onwards.
At 2:00 pm the first boat was launched from Mumbai's Bhaucha Dhakka. After that, the passenger boats from Mora port have been regularised every hour from 3 o'clock. On Saturday afternoon, the Meteorological Department lifted the warning flag for sea traffic, and the Mumbai Mora water service has been restored, according to Nitin Koli, the officer of Mora port.
