Andheri station's platform No. 8 and 9 are up there with the most crowded. However, due to odd local train timings, many times, commuters miss their trains. Considering the commuters’ woes, Western Railway has decided to revise timings of three local trains, which run during peak hours. This will be implemented from June 25, 2018.
Timings of these local trains will be changed
- 7:43 am Andheri-bound local will leave Vasai at 7:40 am. This local will reach Andheri around 8:21 am instead of 8:30 am
- Virar-bound local will depart Andheri station at 8:30 am instead of 8:35 am. This local will reach Virar at 9:22 am instead of 9:31 am
- Virar-bound local will leave Churchgate at 8:04 am instead of 8:00 am. This local will reach Virar station at 9:32 am instead of 9:22 am
