Local trains on the central line were disrupted on Thursday morning as commuters at Diva station protested on tracks stating that they're denied seats and entrance in the trains by Kasara and Karjat commuters by blocking the footboard. Moreover, the local trains were running late which is a huge concern for office-goers during peak hours.

The CSMT fast train arrived at Diva station at 7:00 am and women from Kasara and Karjat standing on the footboard did not allow other commuters to enter inside which led to a verbal argument followed by the protest.
The women protesting blocked trains for 15 minutes which resulted in local trains on the Central Line to run behind the schedule.
