On Friday, November 10, Yuva Sena chief Aditya Thackeray inaugurated electric buses at Wadala bus depot in the presence of mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar, BEST standing committee’s president Anil Kokil, BEST commissioner Bagde.
Young Thackeray took the initiative to curb air pollution which is increasing day by day in the city. Also, the bus runs on charging and not on fuel so it will not release any toxic air.

What differentiates the electric buses from other buses is they don't have gear and engine and there will be no noise and no air pollution.
